The Derby of Tripoli between Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli Tripoli and the Derby of Benghazi between Al-Ahli and Al-Naser took place on Tuesday as part of the second round of the round-of-four of the Libyan Soccer League.

Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ittihad drew 1-1 at Misrata stadium. Al-Ittihad’s Talal Farhat scored at the minute 06, while Al-Ahli’s Anees Salto tied the score at the minute 42.

Despite all efforts put by the two teams in the second half to win the match to their side, Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ittihad heard the final whistle.

Benghazi’s Derby saw Al-Ahli Benghazi win 2-0 over Al-Naser at Benina stadium.

Nigerian Kofery scored the first goal at the minute 22 and Al-Shaafi scored the second goal in the second half, putting Al-Ahli Benghazi forward in the round-of-four.

Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad topped the round with 4 points, Al-Ahli Benghazi came second with 3, Al-Ahli Tripoli third with 2 points and Al-Naser fourth with 1 point.

The third round will kick off next week in night time due to the advent of Ramadan.

Al-Ittihad vs Al-Naser will take place in Tripoli and Al-Ahli Benghazi vs Al-Ahli Tripoli will take place in Benghazi.
