Libyan Al-Ittihad football team won 2-1 against the Royal Leopards of Eswatini, in the postponed match of the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup’s group two matches at the Mombella Stadium in South Africa.

Al-Ittihad’s scored the first goal by Muad Issa in the second minute, and the second goal by Omar Al-Khouja in the minute 35 of the match, ending the first half leading by 2-0. Royal Leopards team managed to score a goal in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

With this win, Al-Ittihad tops the second group with 7 points, followed by Orlando Pirates with six points, Algeria's JS Saoura with four points, and Eswatini Royal Leopards with zero points.

Al-Ittihad will play in the next round the Algerian team JS Saoura in Algeria, after which it will host Royal Leopards at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi. In its last match of the round, Al-Ittihad will play an away match against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.
