Al-Ahli Tripoli, Al-Sweihli and Al-Hilal teams have qualified to the semifinals of this season’s Libyan Soccer Cup.

On Tuesday, Al-Sweihli’s Ahmed Abudabus scored the only goal for his team leading to its win over Al-Madina 1-0 at Tripoli stadium, while Al-Ahli Tripoli had a tough win over Aby Al-Ashahar on penalties 5-4 after tying the 90 minutes score 1-1 at Tarhouna stadium.

Mohammed Al-Abani scored first for Aby Al-Ashahar and Mohammed Soula tied the score for Al-Ahli Tripoli.

Al-Hilal also made it through on Tuesday after beating Al-Akhdar on penalties 6-5 after tying the game 1-1.

The last match of the quarterfinals between Al-Ahli Benghazi and Al-Naser will be held at Tobruk stadium on Wednesday after Benghazi municipality refuse to host the match for security reasons.

Semifinals will kick off on December 10, while the final will take place on December 14 and the stadium that will host the match will be picked later, but it should be neutral, according to the Libyan Football Federation.
