Al Ahly Benghazi lost the away match for the qualifier of the 32nd round of the Arab Club Championship.

Al Ahly trailed 4-2 behind its counterpart, the Egyptian Ismaili, at the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt yesterday.

Wajih Abdul Hakim, Ahmed Madbouly, and Abdul Rahman Majdi scored for Ismaili team, with Wajih Abdul Hakim in the 4th and 21st minutes, giving his team a comfortable 2-0 lead, Ahmed Madbouly in the 33rd minute, and Abdul Rahman Majdi in the 87th minute.

Sufyan Omran of Ahly Benghazi scored in the 29th minute, and  Ivorian Osman David at the 63rd minute.

With this result, Al Ahly Benghazi needs a 2-0 win in the home game, scheduled to take place later this month in Tunisia, in order to qualify for the next round of the tournament.
