Ali Muhammad Abu Qarras

The Libyan Sports Club of the Southern Region has elected at its general meeting held in Ubari, Ali Muhammad Abu Qarras, as head of the Association of Southern Sports Clubs.

His colleagues welcomed the results and said he was "the right man in the right place", given his experiences and expertise in both sports and management.

Ali Muhammad Abu Qarras was born in Sebha in 1972. He previously assumed the presidency of the Board of Directors of the Sharara Club in Sabha for a period of nine years.

He also had the opportunity to work with prominent figures in the sports and management field, at the Executive Office of the Libyan Football Association, such as Salah Al-Arabi, Ahmed Abdul Majid, and the late Libyan international referee, Ibrahim Al-Jamal.

He was also recently appointed as Deputy Chairman of the National Teams Committee of the Libyan Football Federation.
