Étoile du Sahel beat Al-Ahli Tripoli 2-0 at the quarterfinals of CAF Champions League on Sunday at Al-Olymbi Stadium in Sousse, Tunisia.

The Tunisian team will be playing Al-Ahly from Egypt at the semifinals.

The two gaols of Étoile du Sahel were scored at the minutes 15 and 47 by Omro Marei.

Al-Ahli Tripoli drew with Étoile du Sahel 0-0 in Egypt's Alexandria at the first leg match.

Throughout the first half of the game, Étoile du Sahel pressed the Libyan team trying to score and it did at the minute 15 with a header that misled the Libyan goalkeeper Mohammed Nashnoush.

Another header by the same Egyptian player for Étoile du Sahel at the minute 47 put the team ahead for the semifinal, despite efforts by Al-Ahli Tripoli to score a goal or even tie the score.

Thus, Al-Ahli Tripoli team lost all hopes to advance further in the CAF Champions League.
