The Acting Minister of Education, Mohamed Amari Zayed, participated on Saturday in the 17th annual virtual meeting of the Science and Technology Forum, entitled "The 17th session of the round table meeting of science and technology ministers", held in the Japanese city of Kyoto.

In his speech at the conference, Amari Zayed briefed his colleagues on the Libyan experience in addressing the Coronavirus pandemic and the measures taken in this regard.

He pointed out to the Libyan government's support to the research centers, praising the role of the Natural Sciences and Technology Research Authority, and highlighted the accomplishments in the previous period.

The minister expressed his appreciation to the Japanese Minister of Science and Technology, hoping the meeting would open prospects for cooperation with Japan.

It is noteworthy that the Science and Technology Forum had been marked, with broad participation of ministers from more than 50 countries.
