A number of Zintani brigades have held the dissolved parliament and Tobruk government accountable for the insertion of ex-regime leaderships into 17 February revolution. Speaking to the press, the brigades pointed that the general forces leadership headed by rouge general, Khalifa Haftar, has never visited Zintan before or reviewed the situation there.

The Zintnis’ statement indicated that Zintan city keeps a firm hold on the revolution’s principles, confirming the necessity to preserve what the martyrs and the injured sacrificed for and achieved.

It also reaffirmed that all of the ex-regime leaders and followers, who opposed the revolution and took part in killing the Libyan civilians and revolutionaries, must be terminated and kicked out. Dignity Operation has so far included many ex-regime fighters and field commanders in the operation.

Zintan city has always been considered one of the Dignity Operation’s allies in western Libya.
