US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken and GNC Speaker Nuri Abu Sahmain spoke on the phone today to discuss the ongoing efforts to solve the Libyan crisis in addition to the current security situations here.
Both sides also discussed the national dialogue process and the role of GNC played in this regard. Blinken told Abu Sahmain that the solution to the Libyan crisis can only be achieved through a political compromise. The GNC reservations about the UNSMIL draft agreement were also reviewed.
