The GNC has said that the UNSMIL's draft agreement contains positive proposals that could be a foundation for resolving the political crisis, despite the fact that the draft does not meet the political balance.
In a statement following today's session, the GNC pointed out that the draft should contain necessary amendments which include respect for the constitutional declaration and the Supreme Court ruling on the dissolution of the HoR.

It added that these amendments will be submitted to the head of UNSMIL before ratifying the draft officially.
The statement also urged all political sides to deal with the draft positively in order to settle the crisis in the country.
