The Coordinator of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Raisedon Zenenga, denied news being circulated in the media regarding suspicions of corruption by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) held recently in Geneva.

Zenenga reassured the new Head of the Presidential Council (PC), along with his two deputies, during their meeting on Sunday in Tripoli, regarding the Security Council’s support for the results of the dialogue.

He also expressed his hope that the House of Representatives (HoR) would hold its parliamentary session as soon as possible, without obstacles.

According to the media office of the newly elected Head of the PC, Mohammed Menfi, during the meeting, discussions took place regarding the present situation and latest developments in the country, as well as the upcoming agenda for the elections due to take place at the end of the year.
