The spokesman for the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said Berlin II Conference will discuss the implementation of the roadmap of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum leading to elections, discussing as well the ongoing developments and progress as well as challenges facing the roadmap.

Dujarric said the UN Undersecretary for Political and Peace-building Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, will be present at the Berlin II Conference.

"On my way to the Berlin II Conference on Libya. We’ll look to advance progress made on the ceasefire - including respect for the arms embargo and withdrawal of mercenaries - political roadmap and elections. Thanks Germany and, especially, Libyans for making the meeting happen." DiCarlo said on Twitter.

Berlin II Conference will convene on Wednesday and Libya will be present along with representatives from the hosting country Germany, the UN, Algeria, China, African Union, France, Egypt, Italy, Morocco, Holland, Russia, Turkey, UAE, UK, US, Switzerland, Tunisia, Arab League and European Union.
