BBC Arabic disclosed it had taken cognizance of a UN report concerning a secret investigation about the bombing of a migrant centre in Tripoli.

According to the BBC, the report concluded that a warplane belonged to a foreign state launched a missile attack on a migrant shelter in Libya.

An informed source told the BBC that the investigation focused on the UAE, confirming that the responsibility of the referred state for the attack is being considered as the only country that has links with the airbase which the aircraft believed to have carried out the attack, took off.

The strike was carried out using precision-guided missiles, launched by ground-attack aircraft, owned and operated by a member state of the United Nations, which directly supports Haftar's forces, according to the report.
