The Libyan Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that its Tunisian counterpart said it would coordinate with it about the warplane that landed in Mednine on Monday.

The Tunisian Foreign Ministry said it won't cooperate with parallel governments or bodies in Libya regarding the warplane, saying it is now a case at the military justice department, including the pilot's situation.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian defense ministry said the case will be dealt with as per diplomatic and international conventions.

"The military investigation judge is interrogating the Libyan pilot and the final results will be settled as per diplomatic and international conventions." It explained.

The head of the defense and security committee at the Tunisian parliament Abdellatif Al-Maki said Monday that the fighter jet was for Khalifa Haftar's forces and that the pilot first claimed he was part of the Presidential Council's government in Tripoli.
