A warplane from the air force of the Salvation Government’s General Staff carried an airstrike on an IS trawler in Sirte port Monday morning, Press Solidarity reported of a trusted source from the Libyan air force.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the trawler was transferring weapons for the IS militants in Sirte, pointing that some eyewitnesses in Sirte saw flames going up in the air after the trawler was hit.

Worth mentioning is that the SG had already given orders, during the celebration of the fifth anniversary of February revolution, to its forces to head toward Sirte to liberate it from the IS militias.
