The dissolved parliament of Tobruk refused Tuesday the latest amendments to the UNSMIL draft and decided to recall its representatives for the political dialogue in Skhirat.

Members of the parliament also agreed to go on with their roadmap and extend their mandate after October 20 when their term ends.

A press statement following their meeting in Tobruk today said any amendments to the draft, unilaterally signed by Tobruk parliament in July, are totally rejected.

The statement indicated that amendments can only be reviewed in the annexes on the condition that they do contradict with the provisions of the signed political draft.

The chief of UN Mission in Libya Bernardino Leon distributed Sunday an amended draft to the Libyan parties taking part in Skhirat dialogue round.
