Three militiamen of Khalifa Haftar's forces died of suicide within two days of each other, local sources have confirmed.

"Oh mercy, my Lord," Bassem Fathi wrote on his Facebook account on Wednesday, hours before taking his own life.

He said he has no drug problems and is not bewitched, but he is under pressure and could not find comfort.

The day before, Ahmed Abu Sharaya, one of the war-wounded from Haftar's militias, also took his own life. Abu Sharaya left a note saying he lost his friends and limbs and was left without treatment.

On Monday, a prominent figure of Haftar's militia, Munir al-Shakmak, jumped off the roof of a military compound in Benghazi without knowing the reasons.
