The media office of Volcano of Rage Operation of the Presidential Council's government said three people had been killed in airstrikes by Khalifa Haftar's warplanes on a workshop and a store in Al-Sawani in southern Tripoli.

Eyewitnesses said Wednesday that besides the three deaths - Libyan nationals - five civilians were injured and then sent to hospital for media treatment.

They added that the airstrike hit a store of supplies for blacksmith workshops and a farm in Al-Sawani not far from April 7 Camp of the Libyan Army under the Presidential Council's command.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a child of 14 years was injured in shelling that targeted Wali Al-Ahed street on Tripoli Airport Road, days after a person was killed and six others injured in shelling on Abu Salim.

On Sunday, an old woman was killed and several members of her family were injured in Haftar's airstrikes on Shurfat Al-Melaha near Mitiga Airport, while a student was injured in another strike on Tajoura.

Over the last days, Haftar's warplanes have been intensifying airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in Tripoli, targeting civilians in Ain Zara and Tajoura and leaving behind five deaths and over 15 injuries.
