Study has been resumed in Sabratha city after stopping for two weeks over the clashes between the city’s military council and IS militias.

Likewise, Sabratha has worn back its normal lifestyle and the people living there are leading a very normal life after the field operations room in the city issued a statement earlier asking the public service sectors, including schools, to resume their duties.

The Director of Education Administration in Sabratha, Mohammed Al-Dabbashi, told the press that the decision to reopen schools was made in coordination with Sabratha Municipality and the field operations room.

Meanwhile, schools have seen partial resumption of study especially in the elementary and middle schools.

Formerly, Sabratha was a battlefield of heavy clashes between Sabratha military council along with local revolutionaries and IS militants, yet the clashes ended with a complete defeat of the terrorist group.
