Libya 218 TV channel reported Nihad Mitig as saying that she had taken part in the political dialogue for the sake of accord and nothing else and that she would withdraw from the signed Skhirat deal and put it at risk of cancellation if she felt things are going the wrong way.

Nihad was reacting to social media doubts about her brother's wealth.

Nihad Mitig, sister of Ahmed Mitig, the member of the Presidential Council in Serraj government, was one of the participants of the dialogue that took place in Skhirat, Morocco under the auspices of the United Nations, where she was invited as a representative of Libyan women, without outlining the standards upon which she was selected.

The UN ex-envoy, Bernardino Leon, had previously invited several parties, both individuals and entities, in the dialogue without explaining the criteria of the selection and without gaining a consensus by the dialogue parties.
