Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt updated on Tuesday their own terror list adding six Libyan entities and two individuals.

In a joint statement, the four countries labeled the eight as “terrorists”, claiming they have direct or indirect links to Qatar.

The list included Alnabaa TV, Tanasuh TV, Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council, Al-Saraya Media Center, Boshra News Agency and Rafallah Sahati Brigade, in addition to the two nationals Ahmed Al-Hisnawi and Al-Saadi Nawfali.

“The Libyan individuals and terrorist entities, affiliated with terrorist groups in Libya, have received substantial financial support from the Qatari authorities and played an active role in spreading chaos and devastation in Libya, despite serious international concern over the destructive impact of such practices”. The statement reads.

Last month, the four countries added five Libyan nationals and one entity to the list of alleged “terror”. They included: Libyan Grand Mufti Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani, Ali Sollabi, Hakim Belhaj, Ismail Sollabi and Mihdi Al-Harathi, in addition to Defense Benghazi Brigades.

The four-state coalition cut ties with Qatar last month over terrorism support, an accusation Doha denies.

The UAE and Egypt are strong supporters of Khalifa Haftar’s self-styled army in east Libya. The violated UN arms embargo on Libya and supplied him with weapons and ammunition to defeat his political opponents.
