The Libyan National Center for Disease Control said recovered Coronavirus cases had reached 23 after one new recovery was registered Monday.

The center said it ran 136 lab Coronavirus tests and all of them tested negative, including ones who had COVID-19 and recovered.

Libya now has 63 Coronavirus cases, three of whom have died and 23 recovered, thus; 37 patients remain under treatment.

The Head of the National Center for Disease Control Badr Al-Deen Najjar said in a statement on Sunday that the pandemic status quo in Libya was under control, touching on the measures to be taken to receive the Libyans stranded abroad.

Meanwhile, the high committee for combatting Coronavirus reiterated the need to implement all measures and take legal action against anyone who violates the curfew and lockdown rules after depicting a number of violations by certain shops.

"Those who don't abide by the rules of the curfew and walk on the streets without any clear necessity and emergency, will be subject to legal action." Interior Ministry cited the Head of the committee as saying.
