Protesters have stormed into the headquarters of the Presidential Council's (PC) government in Tareeq Al-Sikka in Tripoli calling for tangible answers for their demands as several of them vowed to organize a strike inside the building.

The protesters had to enter the headquarters as they spent hours outside the building but none of the government officials or personnel agreed to talk to them, sources reported.

The sources added that some of the protesters destructed part of the outer fence and then stormed into the building.

Some of the protesters demanded medical treatment and money bonuses as they represent or they are themselves injured fighters of Fajr Libya (Libya Dawn) operation of 2014, while others were injured fighters from the recent Tripoli clashes.

Other protesters - employees and workers - called for receiving their salaries that have been cut off since 2014.

Some of the protesters also held slogans condemning the high salary payments received by officials, while the martyrs' families are receiving only 1000 dinars a month.

Photos from inside the building showed the two PC members Ahmed Mitig and Abdelsalam Kajman and others talking with the protesters.

This comes as the Head of the PC is on a formal visit to Jordan, along with the Governor of the Central Bank Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, and other officials.
