Gunmen in vehicles with logo of Battalion 115 of Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade that is under the command of Khalifa Haftar encircled Monday morning Sabha courthouse and prevented judges as well as employees from working to look into the appeal filed by presidential candidate Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi against his disqualification from the race by the High National Elections Commission.

Eyewitnesses said gunmen were positioned in the vicinity of the Sabha courthouse early in the morning and some of them blocked the entrance and then prevented the employees and judges from entering. This was the second attack after the one carried out on Sunday by the same Brigade.

The court of appeals in Sabha suspended the process of Gaddafi's appeal on Sunday and hoped to pick it up on Monday after one judge was absent or, according to sources from the Supreme Judicial Council, refused to show up at the court.

Judicial Police Apparatus said the reason why Monday session at Sabha court was suspended was the presence of "an armed force" that blocked all roads leading to the courthouse and prevented employees from entering the building.
