The Prime Minister of Salvation Government, Khalifa Al-Ghweil, met Sunday member of the French parliament Jean-Frédéric Poisson and his accompanying delegation.

Both sides discussed ways of mutual collaboration in confining the illegal immigration phenomenon and terrorism.

The meeting, attended by Minister of the Interior, Mohammed Al-Burghathi, also reviewed possibilities for putting more pressure on neighboring countries to oblige them to tighten the grip on the borders so that the immigrants’ influx to the Libya comes to a halt.

The French delegation expressed ease about the security situation in Tripoli contrary to the current false image displayed by media or by some countries, according to the SG report.
