Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC) Abdullah Al-Lafi on Thursday conducted a visit to Tarhouna city where he met with families of the mass graves victims committed by the pro-Haftar militia Al-Kani.

"Without justice, there could be no reconciliation," Al-Lafi told the families, stressing the government's support for all their demands in this regard.

According to a statement by Al-Lafi on Facebook, the visit was an opportunity to get an insight into the public service problems of the city.

The PC official confirmed that he discussed mechanisms to overcome the difficulties encountered by the service authorities, as well as academic and security institutions.

"This visit to Tarhouna comes in the framework of the PC's efforts to reach out to all Libyan cities in order to achieve national reconciliation," Al-Lafi explained.
