The number of the internally displaced persons in Misrata has reached 33696, the city's Social Affairs Bureau has revealed, pointing out that those IDPs come from various Libyan cities.

According to a survey conducted by the bureau, the IDPs came from 18 Libyan cities; in addition, the number of the dislocated families amounted to 7037 ones among which there are 15533 males, 15179 females, and 2984 children under three years old.

In Zliten, local authorities declared that 2734 people from Sirte, representing 520 families, have arrived in the city to escape the deteriorating situations there. The city also hosts around 900 people from Benghazi, the authorities added.
