Muslim Brotherhood members from Misrata city have resigned from the group and dissolved the group’s bureau in the city.

Misrata members of Muslim Brotherhood Group said in a statement they had resigned to avoid being the pretext of any agenda aiming to end freedoms and prevent the completion of the revolutionary project and goals.

The members said they had dissolved the group in Misrata due to the delay of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders of the revisions and reform as agreed upon in the tenth conference of 2015.

They indicated as well that the timeframe in which the Muslim Brotherhood group was launched in Misrata and the current time and conditions are different, saying the group’s work needs revision and correction.

The resignation of the members of Misrata’s Muslim Brotherhood came two months after a similar resignation by the members of the group’s Al-Zawiya bureau, which was also dissolved.
