The Mayor of Misrata Mohammed Shtaiwi met Tuesday with the the head of UNSMIL Bernardino Leon at the United Nations Headquarters in Tunisia.
Both sides discussed arrangements relevant to the expected Libyan government of national accord.
Misrata Municipal Council said its mayor had emphasized to the UN envoy that all military positions should immediately become vacant, following the formation of the unity government.
He also requested Leon that all the candidates for the prime minister position should be of characters committed to the principles of the 17th February revolution.
