The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Al-Mahdi Al-Amin, discussed on Sunday with the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Libya, Gözde Avci-Legrand, strengthening joint cooperation.

The discussions centered around preparing programs to support young people and raise their awareness of the importance of using technology, to achieve sustainable development, and raise their capabilities in the areas of training and vocational training, medical and medical auxiliary elements, and renewable energies, according to the Ministry.

The meeting reviewed areas of training at the Libyan-Korean Center, and the possibility of providing support to develop mechanisms to list vocational education and training outputs and link them to the labour market.

The meeting concluded with the formation of a joint work team to conduct a study on occupational violence at work, and to establish a business incubator for women, in cooperation with the specialized international organizations.
