For his part, the Ambassador welcomed this meeting and expressed his readiness to urge the companies to return to the direct activation of their contracts, and to discuss the suspended and contracted projects by Italian companies, and the mechanisms for activating them and re-working with them.

The Director of the Housing and Utilities Projects Authority reported that Italian companies have already begun to resume their work, including the integrated facilities project for the city of Tobruk, the Tripoli sewage treatment plant project and the Misrata sewage treatment plant project.

The Chairman of the Administration Committee for the Development of Administrative Centers also stated that several projects concluded with Italian companies in the cities of Tripoli and Zawiya have been activated, including the project of rehabilitating and restoring the Islamic Museum in Tripoli and the project of restoring the Anas bin Malik Institute in the Dahra area.
