Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush has said that building and establishing peace requires political will and long-term and ongoing efforts at the national and international levels.

During her participation, via Zoom, in a panel discussion on the legitimacy of the peace process, organized by the United Nations Development Program in partnership with the Peace Principles Initiative, Al-Manqoush confirmed that her government would focus on supporting a stability process that would lead to sustainable peace in the country.

"This vision is based on three main axes, the military and security track, the economic track, and the political track. These tracks rely on the Berlin Conferences 1 and 2 outcomes, as well as the UN Security Council Resolutions 2570 and 2571."

She indicated that the count down to December elections prompted them to focus on the military and security paths to create a safe environment for holding this entitlement, explaining that the military and security track means the expulsion of mercenaries, foreign fighters, and foreign forces, besides supporting the 5 + 5 committee aimed at unifying the military institution.
