Officials at the Libyan Food and Drug Control Center said their inspectors found over 30 violations at the Tripoli University Hospital.

The inspectors, municipal guard and Deterrence Force in Tripoli visited the hospital and registered massive violations in different departments, where precautionary measures of Coronavirus weren't being applied.

They also registered other violations including expired medicines at the intensive care unit and other violations in a number of medical departments at the hospital, adding that a report was sent to Public Prosecutor's Office and Deterrence Force, as well as municipal guard for legal action.

Sources said Tuesday that the director of Tripoli University Hospital Nabil Al-Ajili was summoned along with other officials for investigation into the violations, but no charges had been made yet.
