The Libyan Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord (GNA) said Saturday that the world is now discovering the obnoxious heinous atrocities of Khalifa Haftar's forces as GNA forces liberate the cities from their evil grip.

The Presidential Council added in a statement that Haftar's forces had committed mass killings and planted mines in people's houses, which all should eliminate them as a future peace partner in the country.

"They killed entire families in Tarhouna and Qasir Benghashir, men, women and children and tossed them in wells. They killed children in cold blood and buried men alive with their hands and legs tied as hundreds of bodies are being unearthed in mass graves." The statement reads.

It said Haftar's crimes are still resonating in Tripoli and its southern suburbs as they planted mines everywhere, even in children's toys in a retaliatory manner, adding that it is highly likely that foreign elements had planted those mines.

"The situation in south Tripoli is very hazardous for returning displaced families as scores had fallen casualties due to the mine explosions." The statement adds.

The Presidential Council hailed the demining efforts and the assistance it had received from friend countries, urging for more assistance in removing these "dangers", saying it is awaiting a clear condemnation of Haftar's senseless crimes of mine planting and mass graves.
