The members of for House of Representatives (HoR), who met earlier this month in Ghadames, held a meeting via Zoom headed by the oldest member Abu Bakr Baira and discussed the modification of HoR internal laws.
The HoR members also adopted Zoom application as a platform for the future meetings as they discussed amending the internal laws as proposed by the relevant committee.
The HoR members said they would continue to hold Zoom sessions till the end of December 2020, so that agreement on holding a full-quorum session in Ghadames can follow.
About 130 HoR members met in Ghadames over three weeks ago and discussed holding a full-quorum session but some members hindered such a meeting, according to several sources, who explained that some members loyal to HoR Speaker Aqila Saleh threatened to leave Ghadames if the rest wanted to elect new presidency for the parliament.
