The Libyan Foreign Ministry has called on the Security Council and international organizations to take up their responsibility toward the repeated attacks by Khalifa Haftar's forces on civilians, condemning the attack on densely populated areas in Tripoli by Haftar's forces, who killed on Sunday five civilians.

The statement of the Government of National Accord's Foreign Ministry said Monday that the senseless strikes of Haftar's forces even targeted a cemetery for Christians in Al-Mansoura neighborhood in Tripoli.

"Haftar's crimes are violations of all norms, even the religious ones. Such violations amount to war crimes and should not go unpunished. All perpetrators must be brought to justice." The statement reads.

On Sunday, five civilians were killed by grad rockets attacks of Haftar's forces on Al-Thelat roundabout and Al-Gharbi street, according to the media adviser of Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi.
