The Foreign Ministry of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) has denied nominating any person for a sovereign position via its secret mail service to UNSMIL's acting Head Stephanie Williams.

The Foreign Ministry refuted Sunday that it was a linking point between the so-called Head of Supreme Council of Reconciliation and Williams for the former and other persons' nomination to occupy sovereign positions.

GNA's Foreign Ministry urged all personalities and people to look for credible information from the correct sources as it couldn't play at any incident the role of a "postman" to send the requests of individuals to official local and international organizations, saying its work is related to Libya's foreign policy and relations with the world.

Meanwhile, local media reported a letter sent by a man called Ayoub Al-Shara who called himself the Head of Supreme Council of Reconciliation to Stephanie Williams, saying he represented the cities and tribes' gathering and that they had nominated House of Representatives Speaker in Tobruk Aqila Saleh for the post of the Head of the new Presidential Council.
