The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj arrived Monday in Algeria and met with President Abdelmajid Tebboune to discuss the developments in Libya and bilateral relations.

The Algerian News Agency said the Libyan delegation was received at the Presidential palace in the capital and the visit will last for one day.

It added that the meeting will review standpoints regarding the crisis in Libya and possibilities for solutions.

Al-Sarraj, Foreign Minister Mohammed Sayala and Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha arrived in Algeria on Monday afternoon on a high profile delegation visit to the neighboring country.

The visit coincides with the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Mavlut Çavuşoğlu, who is staying in Algeria for two days and will meet with Al-Sarraj to discuss cooperation and implementation of the MoUs between Ankara and Tripoli.
