The Internal Security Agency released a video clip showing a man confessing to his involvement in the attack that hit the Corinthia Hotel six years ago.

The person identified to be Tunisian Omar Bashir from Tataouine state confirmed that he facilitated the entry of the perpetrators who carried out the attack into Libya.

In the video clip, the accused said that he and his two brothers pledged allegiance to the ISIS group, which assigned him to smuggle members of the group from Tunisia to Libya and vice versa through a desert path.

He confirmed that he was responsible for bringing in the Tunisian Idris Abdel-Qader, nicknamed Abu Ibrahim Al-Tunisi, who appeared in propaganda videos for ISIS in Libya.

The Corinthia attack in 2015 killed four Libyans and other foreign victims of U.S and French nationalities, besides the injury of others.
