The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah said his government is waiting for the passing of the budget by the House of Representatives so they can implement their plans, adding that activating parliamentary committees is necessary.

The remarks came in a meeting on Wednesday with the Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi and elections centers' representatives.

Menfi, meanwhile; hailed the meeting that is aimed to overcoming obstacles facing the work of the government, saying all institutions should cooperate in national reconciliation and unification.

Dbeibah and Menfi met earlier on Wednesday and discussed the delayed budget approval by the House of Representatives, reiterating the need to work on emergency projects for the benefit of all Libyans.

In the meantime, a group of 27 members of the House of Representatives (HoR) called for withdrawing confidence in the Government of National Unity in the next Monday session, citing irresponsible behavior by Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and said his behavior is "controlled by the corrupt political money".
