The current Prime Minister of the interim Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, has filled out a financial disclosure at the Anti-Corruption Authority in Tripoli ahead of submitting paperwork for his candidacy for the presidential elections at the High National Elections Commission.

Dbeibah was greeted by the Head of the Anti-Corruption Authority, Noman Al-Sheikh, with whom he discussed issues and hindrances facing the work of the Authority.

Earlier on Thursday, the Ex-Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, and Ex-Deputy Head of Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteeq, submitted their candidacies for presidential elections at the High National Elections Commission, while the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, announced he was running for presidential elections but hadn't yet submitted paperwork.

The number of presidential elections' candidates has so far exceeded 20, including the Government of National Accord's Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Sharif, former Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, Gaddafi's son, Saif Al-Islam, Khalifa Haftar, and others.
