Parliament Acting Speaker Fawzi Al-Nuwari, who is visiting Turkey at the head of a parliamentary delegation, has discussed with the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop means to simplify travel between Libya and Turkey with a focus on facilitating procedures for patients and students.
Parliament Spokesman Abdullah Blehaq said the delegation also met the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Foreign Affairs Committee Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
Over and above bilateral relations, the meeting discussed economic cooperation and the return of Turkish companies working in development projects in Libya.
Upon their arrival in Turkey, the Libyan delegation met on Wednesday with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, where they talked over the developing situation in Libya and the implications of foreign interference in its affairs.
