The member of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Abdelsalam Nasiya, said the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) are meddling in the formation of the Government of National Unity disregarding the Prime Minister-elect, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah.

Nasiya said on Facebook the LPDF members had been interfering in the formation of the unity government, especially those who elected the list of Dbeibah: "17 members who are now controlling the process of the formation in an apparent extortion of the newly elected executive authority".

"The conduct of the 17 LPDF members who elected the winning executive authority shows that the LPDF has split into parties, which undermines the political dialogue and leads, again, to corruption and discord. The newly executive authority and UN envoy should do something about this and explain to the LPDF that their job has ended and that the members aren't allowed to interfere in forming the unity government." Nasiyah said.

A number of the members of the LPDF, which elected the new executive authority on February 05 in Geneva, called for making the LPDF a political body to form and monitor the government. The LPDF is allowed to endorse the government if the House of Representatives failed to do so, according to the roadmap approved in Tunisia in last November.
