The Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush reiterated at a joint press conference with the Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Cairo the need to implement the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum's roadmap and Berlin Conference conclusions about unifying security and military institutions, and consolidating the ceasefire, hailing Egypt's role in support of the political process.

Al-Mangoush, after a meeting with Shoukry, said the vision for stability in Libya will be presented at Berlin II Conference, adding that it focuses on consolidating ceasefire, withdrawing foreign forces and mercenaries, unifying military institutions and implementing Berlin Conference conclusions as well as Security Council resolution 2570 and 2571.

She also looked forward to convening the High Joint Committee of Libya and Egypt, reiterating the call for reopening Egypt's embassy in Tripoli and consulate in Benghazi.

Shoukry reiterated Egypt's support for the Presidential Council and Government of National Unity as well as the roadmap, saying he had discussed Berlin II Conference preparations with Al-Mangoush.
