The Libyan Defense Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has reiterated keenness to improve cooperation with Turkey in all fields of mutual interest.

The remarks came in a meeting for the Defense Minister Salah Al-Namroush with Turkish ambassador and military attaché to Libya in Tripoli on Monday.

The Defense Ministry said the meeting discussed more cooperation in defense fields as Al-Namroush hailed Turkey's role in supporting GNA and Libya during the aggression on Tripoli.

Al-Namroush met last week with the German ambassador to Libya Oliver Owcza and discussed also how his Ministry was increasing cooperation with Turkey and how important to cooperate also with Germany, especially in training programs and logistical support.
