The spokesman for the Libyan Army Mohammed Gununu said Sunday that air defenses had shot down a Wing Loong drone as it was striking civilian targets in the vicinity of Abu Grein town.

Gununu added that the drone was provided by the UAE to Haftar's forces, saying it was loaded with missiles but it was luckily shot down before returning to where it took off from.

Meanwhile, the commander of Sirte-Jufra operations room Abdelhadi Drah said several fighters from Haftar's forces had been killed and injured in attacks on their positions on the coastal road of Al-Wishka.

This came after the operations room put all forces on high alert state in order to respond to any attacks by Haftar's forces, according to Drah.

In southern Tripoli, most frontlines are seeing an uneasy calm with intermittent exchanges of fire after the forces of Volcano of Rage Operation advanced on the strategic frontlines of Al-Tawaisha near Tripoli International Airport and Mashroa Al-Hadba.
