The Libyan Army forces under the command of the Presidential Council's government has repelled an attack by the forces of Khalifa Haftar on Naqliyah camp on the Airport Road and Yarmouk camp in southern Tripoli.

Haftar's forces attacked Saturday morning the forces of the Libyan Army from different fighting axes, entering Ahyaa Al-Bariya and Naqliyah camp for a short time before being repelled by the Libyan army forces, leaving behind military and human losses.

Identical sources reported that Libyan Army forces advanced on Ahyaa Al-Bariyah frontline as Haftar's forces were pushed to Qasir Benghashir, seizing on the way a number of military vehicles including KADDB armoured personnel carrier APC that arrived lately to the frontline on Haftar's side.

On Yarmouk camp frontline, Libyan Army forces also repelled Haftar's forces advance and seized new positions in its vicinity.

Clashes are still raging on in the frontlines with other fighting frontlines seeing exchange of artillery and skirmishes such as Al-Heera and Wadi Rabea.

According to the field hospital, seven killed fighters from the Libyan Army forces and 16 injured ones were received from the Saturday clashes' zones.

Social media and media outlets loyal to Haftar said Haftar's forces seized locations inside Tripoli and that they were preparing for the zero hour on Saturday afternoon.

Over the last days, Haftar's loyalists called for an uprising inside Tripoli neighborhoods that would start on Ramadan 20 - that is today May 25, 2019.
