Spokesman of the Libyan Army, Colonel Mohammad Qanunu

The Libyan Army forces have destroyed an ammunition depot and a position for the forces of Khalifa Haftar in Qasir Benghashir, said Libyan Army spokesman Mohammed Gununu on Saturday.

Gununu told reporters that the operation came as a response to the targeting of civilians in Tripoli, adding that Volcano of Rage forces will tackle any attacks by "the aggression militias".

He also called on all Libyans to stay away from the areas where Haftar's forces are located in southern Tripoli.

Meanwhile, sources from Libyan Army forces said artillery weapons of 166 Brigade had targeted three ammunition depots of Haftar's forces in Qasir Benghashir, saying the ammunition was the heavy weapons used to randomly bomb Tripoli neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, Haftar's forces targeted Friday afternoon Abu Salim neighborhood with a number of Grad rockets, causing massive material damage, in addition to targeting the vicinity of Mitiga Airport and Shurfet Al-Mallah, causing a wave of displacement.
