The Libyan Army forces under the Government of National Accord have targeted with precise airstrike ammunition supplies and military equipment for Khalifa Haftar's forces in Jandouba between Gharyan and Al-Asabea.

The Libyan Army's Volcano of Rage Operation said Tuesday on Facebook that the Air Force targeted those supplies which were aimed to boost the military offensive of Haftar's forces.

In the meantime, a military source from the operation said the airstrikes came after information had been gathered about the incoming of supplies to Gharyan from Al-Jufra, thus the convoy was air-raided before being received by Haftar's forces.

"This precise airstrike made it possible for the fighters under our command inside Gharyan to carry out a strategic operation that destroyed the rest of the convoy - military armored vehicles, weapons and ammunition.

Some sources loyal to Haftar said earlier they had received a Russian defense system coming from the UAE and that it will be deployed to Gharyan.

The Libya Observer couldn't verify such information, despite Volcano of Rage sources saying they had destroyed it today in the airstrikes.

Meanwhile, sources from Gharyan said the Libyan Air Force also targeted Thamina Camp in Gharyan on Tuesday evening, hitting more vehicles and ammunition for Haftar's forces.
