The media office of Volcano of Rage Operation under the command of the Government of National Accord (GNA) said Air Force fighters conducted airstrikes on southern Bani Walid; a supply line for fuel used by Khalifa Haftar's forces for their fighters in Tarhouna and south Tripoli.

The spokesman for the Libyan Army Mohammed Gununu said Air Force warplanes carried out Saturday dawn two airstrikes hitting a fuel truck and armed vehicle with Haftar's fighters aboard in the vicinity of Bani Walid as they were en route to Tarhouna.

On Friday, Gununu also said that three airstrikes had targeted fuel trucks and military vehicles carrying ammunition near Teninay area in southern Bani Walid, adding that they were all heading to Tarhouna.

Gununu indicated that other airstrikes targeted military positions inside Al-Watiya airbase and around it, hitting military vehicles for Haftar's forces, while media reports said at least five fighters had been killed and four others injured.

Meanwhile, sources from Volcano of Rage Operation said Libyan Army's artillery had targeted military positions for Haftar's forces in Tarhouna; headquarters of "Jaheem Brigade" of Al-Kani militias as well as a workshop used by Haftar's forces to fix their military equipment.
